1. Seniors-need help completing the FAFSA?  Financial aid experts from Ivy Tech, USI, and UE will be available to help THIS SUNDAY at 2:00 at Ivy Tech.

1. Are you 15 and ready to start driving?  Road Star Driving School offers online and face to face classes year-round all-over Southwestern Indiana. Our next face to face class at Mount Vernon High School STARTS March 6th. Get registered today at www.evansville.roadstardriving.com or pick up a flier in the high school counseling office for more information.  You can register online.
2. SENIORS - Please check your email for a form to submit your photos for the senior video. The form must be completed before March 24, 2023 in order to have your responses in the video! If you need to have your photos scanned, please see Ms. Block in room B111. Please remember, ALL photos must be school appropriate! 
3. SENIORS: Reminder every Senior MUST order a new cap and gown if you are planning on participating in the graduation ceremony.  Place your order online at www.jostens.com
4. SENIORS: Josten’s will be delivering graduation product orders on Monday, April 3rd from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm in the cafeteria commons.
5. April 29, 20223 - Prom at USI in Carter Hall from 8:00pm-11:00pm. Tickets will be sold 3 weeks prior to prom and tickets will be $30 each.

CONGRATULATIONS:

• The Mount Vernon Boys basketball team knocked off the Tecumseh Braves Friday night 65-54. Mt. Vernon was led in scoring by Nicot Burnett with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Jackson Clowers had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Nash Hostetter had 12 points and 6 assists. Jack Campbell was huge off the bench with 3 triples in the 2nd half and finished with 9 points. The Cats finish up the home portion of their schedule Saturday night when the Princeton Tigers come to town with the JV tipping off at 5:30pm and the Varsity to follow around 7pm. 

• Jaycee Jarvis received “distinguished gold” at the State solo and ensemble contest on Saturday in Indy.  MVHS Choir received “distinguished gold” at the State solo and ensemble contest on Saturday in Indy. Distinguished gold is the highest rating awarded at the contest.
