The track team crossed the border to compete in Carmi yesterday. Though no final  results are available yet, there were many races won by your Bobcats! Some first  place finishes by 8th graders were Makayla Schneider in the 200, Maddie Abel in the 800, and Carter Zieren in the 800 and also the mile with a personal best of 4 minutes 52 seconds! Thanks to all for a great effort!

Attention ALL students - do you like to dance, sing, or do you play a musical instrument?   Perhaps you can jump through fiery hoops while riding a tiger and live-streaming at the same time?  Then the MVJHS Talent Show is for you!  A meeting for those interested in showcasing their talents will be on Friday, April 21st during homebase in Mr. Wolfe's classroom in the social studies area downstairs.  

There will be basketball open gyms run by Coach Steinhart for all female athletes interested in improving for next season. The goal is to have enough to scrimmage 5 on 5 the majority of open gyms. Open gyms will be held in the Junior High AUX GYM from 3:15-4:30 on the following dates: April 17, 18, 25, 27 & May 1, 4, 8, 11. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Coach Steinhart.  

The next dance is on April 21st.  Theme is Wave goodbye to Winter!  6th grade will have their dance from 3:30-5pm and 7th and 8th grade dance will be from 5:30-7pm.  Tickets will go on sale next Wednesday.  Tickets will be $5.    Look for signs and tvs for details. 

The 8th grade only dance will be May 19th this year.   Dress code will apply to all dances.

The 8th grade trip to Holiday World is May 30th. Please pick up your form in the office. Forms must be turned in by May 3rd. If you have had an ESS this school year, you may not attend. 

The Addams Family Musical is this Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 3pm. Tickets are $5 for students & seniors and $7 for adults.  Tickets can be bought online or at the door.

Auditions for the summer musical, Annie will be on April 19th and 20th from 3-7pm. This is for adults and students.  If you have any questions please come to the office. 

There are forms for running, basketball, football, wrestling, volleyball, swim and golf camp outside the main office.

There will be a Student Council meeting Thursday, April 20th at 2:30.
