TO THE STUDENTS: 

SENIORS: 

• Seniors if you haven't picked up your Graduation Cap/Gown please pick them up in the Counseling Office ASAP.. 
• Every Senior MUST order a new cap and gown if you are planning on participating in the graduation ceremony.  Place your order online at www.jostens.com 
• Your chromebooks will be collected on Wednesday, May 17th before Senior Recognition Practice.

1. All PE/Weight Lifting classes please plan to meet in the PAC for the start of classes from now until otherwise stated. 
2. If you have lost an item, please check the main office lost and found.
3. TOMORROW is the last day to buy prom tickets. They are $30 each.  If you are taking a guest that does not go to MVHS, you must have a guest date form signed before you can purchase your prom tickets.  Tickets will be sold before/ after school in Mrs. Hobgood and Mrs. Walter's rooms.  
4. The MVHS Talent Show will be Friday, April 28th at 2:00pm.  Contact Mr. Baker no later than tomorrow Friday April 21st to set up an audition.
5. “The Mt. Vernon Parks and Rec Department is accepting applications for summer help at Brittlebank Pool and with the Maintenance Division until April 21st. Positions available at the pool include lifeguard, cashier, pool cleaner, and concessions worker. Maintenance help will involve maintaining all the parks in the city and will include weed eating, mowing, and general upkeep. Call the Parks Department at 812-838-3691 with any questions. Applications can be picked up in the school counseling office or at the Parks Office located at Hedges. They can be dropped off at Hedges as well.”

• The Unified Track and Field team opened their season last night with a 1st place finish against Evansville North with a final score of 165 to 159.

• Varsity Softball beat Ev. Central 11-2.  The Lady 'Cats came up with another big W on Wednesday night! Mallory Mason (3-4), Bailey Cox (3-5), Hannah West (2-3), and Alaina Allyn (2-4) led the team offensively. Hannah and Cora Bell had 3 RBI each. Hannah also had a 2-run HR (5th of the season) in the top of the first! Kaylen Salee secured a complete game win and struck out ten!  The Lady 'Cats are back in action tonight against Heritage Hills. First pitch is set for 5:30 PM!
