Track & Field has officially come to a close. Congrats to all our MVJHS Track and Field athletes on a great season! We ended the season with both girl and boy teams finishing 6th place, out of 13 teams, at Conference. Way to go Bobcats! Thank you for all of your hard work!

Here are some key highlights from the season: Girls 4x800 team school record with a time of 11:17. Stella Hall school record in 300 hurdles with a time of  53:19. And…Let’s congratulate and give a BIG shoutout to Carter Zieren!! He is our new 1600 meter school record holder and PAC record holder with a time of  4:44.93!! Way to go Carter!!

All track team members who went to PAC please go to Mr. Weaver’s room during homebase today! 

There will be an all call meeting today for any 8th grade boys interested in joining the JV/Varsity Soccer team next year. The meeting will be in Mr. Smith's room at the start of homeroom. If you are at all interested please stop by and learn more about the team. 

The Buy One Get One Free Book Fair begins Monday May 8th through the 12th in the library. We will have a special guest at the fair-Local Author, Jean Knight Pace who will be selling and signing her books!

Wednesday, May 10th is Free Physical Night at the High School.  

Incoming 9th grade out-of-season athletes will start at 5:00 PM, in-season athletes should arrive starting at 5:30 PM.  No admittance after 6:45 PM.  Be sure to log into FinalForms and update your information before that night and print out the IHSAA physical forms to bring.  Incoming 9th graders will have the baseline concussion testing done so please bring your Chromebook.  

Physicals for incoming 7th and 8th graders starts at 7:00 PM.  No Admittance after 7:30 PM. Athletic Waiver form must be completed by a parent or guardian before obtaining a physical. Please come to the office if you need a form. 

The 8th-grade dance will be on May 19th this year.   Dress code will apply.
