ATTENTION SENIORS: 

• Seniors if you haven't picked up your Graduation Cap/Gown please pick them up in the Counseling Office ASAP.. 

• Every Senior MUST order a new cap and gown if you are planning on participating in the graduation ceremony.  Place your order online at www.jostens.com 

• Your chromebooks will be collected on Wednesday, May 17th before Senior Recognition Practice.

1. Key Club Chemo Buddies fundraiser is due May 19th.

2. All books and materials from the Media Center are due now.

3. This Wednesday May 10th is Free Physical Night.  Pre-Screening for out-of-season athletes will start at 5:00 PM, in-season athletes should arrive starting at 5:30 PM.  No admittance after 6:45 PM.  Be sure to log into FinalForms and update your information before that night.  Please print out the IHSAA physical forms to bring and if you haven't had the baseline concussion testing done before then you should bring your chromebook with you. 

4. All members of the NHS will be meeting this Thursday, May 11th, at 7:30am, in the media center.  This includes newly inducted members.  Students should check their email for specific meeting times and locations next Thursday.  If there are any questions, please contact either Mr. Bacon or Mr. Bethel before next Thursday.

CONGRATULATIONS:

• The Lady ‘Cats won 4 to 3 on Saturday morning against 3A #6 Pike Central! Kaylen Salee, Raycee Stallings, Hannah West, Bailey Cox, Peyton Rush, and Mallory Mason had hits in the outing. Alaina Allyn had an RBI. Kaylen pitched another gem, allowing only three hits and striking out eleven! The 'Cats are back in action on Tuesday at home against Southridge. First pitch is set for 5 PM! 

• The 'Cats won 3 to 1 a hard-fought battle on Friday night against Mater Dei! The game went ten innings and ended with a two-run home run by Hannah West in the bottom of the tenth! Kaylen Salee, Raycee Stallings, Cora Bell, Hannah West, Alaina Allyn, & Peyton Rush had hits in the game. Kaylen secured a complete game win and struck out nine batters! 

• Girls Varsity Tennis beats Tecumseh 5 - 0

• Congratulations to the English Team.  They are the 2023 English Class II Super Bowl Champions.  This is Mr. Feagley’s second State Championship in as many years.  The team finished the event with a near-perfect score of 24 out of 25 correct.  MVHS not only won its class but also had the highest score of all of the participating teams.
