• HS Building Health Risk Assessment (must be on school insurance to attend this event)  Tuesday, November 7th  - 7:00am - 10:30am - Main Office Conference Room

STUDENTS:

• This is College Go!   TODAY is Military enlistment awareness.  Wear camo or green and tan.  Email Mrs. Rose a pic of you wearing your camo or green and tan to be entered to win a prize.  If you plan to apply to college, be sure to check out your email and the posted list of colleges offering free applications next week.  If you need assistance applying, see Mrs. Rose..   Week and we will be doing a few activities.  Today we are doing teacher trivia. This teacher earned a bachelor degree from the University of Evansville and a masters from Ashford University.  She began college as a music education major, but at the time cuts were being made in the area of fine arts, so she changed her major to the area in which she now teaches.  She lived on campus for 2 years and off campus for 2 years.  She preferred the small, private school, but they had a strict attendance policy.  She had an 8 am class which was tough, but she made it!  She was in the Phi Mu Sorority.  She has also changed careers.  She was once a medical assistant and briefly thought about going into Med Tech.  Her advice is to study hard, meet lots of people, and enjoy your time.  Who is this teacher?  Mrs. Alldredge!!!  Seniors, this is also college application week where some colleges waive their application fee.  There are lists posted around the school and you were recently emailed a list.  Mrs. Rose will be available to assist with applications.  Keep in mind that if you apply with the Common App, the fee cannot be waived.

• Anyone interested in joining DECA this year should report to Mr. Krizan's room (B105) during the reading period on Thursday, September 28.
• The Evansville Philharmonic is offering FREE STUDENT TICKETS!  Stop by the office to scan the QR Code.  
• CALL OUT meeting October 5th during reading period in the media center for any student interested in the MV Robotic Competition Team.
• Wednesday, September 27th FCA will be holding "See you at the Pole." This is a time of prayer for our school and community. All are welcome to attend a 7:30 am meeting at the flagpole on the track.
