Thursday, May 16th - Senior Recognition Program @ 8:20 a.m. 
Tuesday, May 21st - Final Exam Day
Wednesday, May 22nd - Final Exam Day

STUDENTS:

• Seniors should report to the athletic foyer Wednesday, May 15th at 8:05 a.m. to turn in their chromebooks.  After turning in the chromebook please report to the main gym for Senior Recognition Practice.

• Senior Trip Permission slips can be picked up in the main office.  Seniors going on the Senior Trip this coming Sunday, May 19th  MUST have a permission slip turned in to Mr. Jones or Mr. Ungetheim by this Friday, May 17th by noon. 

• Spring art show is today in art room F102! It is both Tuesday and Wednesday during school 8 AM to 3 PM and Tuesday night 5 to 7 PM. Classes are welcome.

• "Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors, need to check their emails to vote for next year's class officers. Voting will end Tuesday at 3."

• "For anyone interested in joining the color guard for next year's marching band, the auditions are today, May 13th, Wednesday the 15th, and Thursday the 16th in the band room from 6-8pm. No experience is necessary!"

• Congratulations to the MVHS Advanced Choir who won 1st place this past Saturday in the Women’s choir category at the Holiday World Music Festival and our combined choirs earned a gold rating for their performance. Congratulations MV Choirs! 

• Senior Sunrise is scheduled for Friday, May 17 from 6:00 am - 8:00 am.  All MVHS Seniors are invited to attend.  Come enjoy a free coffee and mini donuts from 3 Chick's.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Schneider.

• Free Athletic Physical Night - Wednesday, May 15, 2024 - MVHS Athletic Foyer

• Incoming 9th through 12th grade: Pre-screening for off-season athletes will start at 5:00 PM.  In-season athletes should arrive starting at 5:30 PM.  No admittance after 6:30 PM.

• Online athletic registration for the 2024-2025 school year will open May 1 for all incoming high school athletes at mtvernon-in.finalforms.com.  If your athlete has previously registered on FinalForms, their data has been saved and you will simply need to login and review/update their information.  For those who have not previously registered, please go ahead do so!  (Be sure to choose the 2024-2025 school year!)

• Once the registration is complete, you can print the IHSAA physical form directly from the last page of the FinalForms registration.  (This saves you from having to complete the paper copy!!) The athlete and parent/guardian will both need to sign the printed copy at the bottom of the evaluation form and Page 4 MUST BE COMPLETED (including insurance information) and signed by parent/guardian and athlete prior to obtaining a physical.  

• The student athlete should bring the entire physical form with them to the FREE physical night.  If you have questions, call the Athletic Office at (812) 833-2060.

• Incoming 9th grade athletes will also be doing concussion screening.  Athletes should bring their chromebooks with them to the physical to use for the screening.
