CONGRATULATIONS:
The Super Bowl Team finished 3rd place in the PAC competition.  The English Team place 1st with a perfect score of 25 points.  Team members are Brenna Julian, Emma Fischer, and Abby Reis.  The Math Team placed 1st with a score of 17 points.  Rossy Hollinger competed alone by outscoring 11 other teams of three or more students.  The Fine Arts Team tied for 2nd place with 15 points.  Team members are Cora Bell, Grace Tenbarge, and Kai Wallace.

TO THE STUDENTS: 

1. All sophomores, juniors and seniors, who have a qualifying gpa of 3.5 or higher, will receive both an email and paper invitation to apply for membership to the National Honor Society.  Invitations will be delivered this week.  Only students who complete and submit the application by Friday, March 10th, will be considered for membership.  Any student who does not receive an invitation, but feels they should have based their gpa, should see either Mr. Bacon or Mr. Bethel to discuss an application.  All applications must be turned in to Mr. Bacon by Friday, March 10th.
2. Anyone interested in the Black Township Fire Dept. Cadet Program can pick up an application in the Main Office.
3. Art Guild Members wanting to go on the Nashville trip need to turn in a $50 deposit to secure your spot. Deposits are due no later than March 1 and space is limited to the first 13 members. See Mrs Glaser and the Art Guild google classroom for more details.

Our next face to face class at Mount Vernon High School STARTS March 6th. 1. Today is the last Spirit Day for FFA Week.  It is Favorite AG Day (example: John Deere, Case , Cargill, CGB etc)   Thanks to all who have participated this week!

3. Any boy that played "C" basketball this year should report to Mrs. Arvin’s room C119 during reading period.
4. On Monday all juniors will be released from their 6th period class at 10:55 and should report to the PAC with their Chromebooks.  We will be completing the SAT preadministration questionnaire.  Please make sure Chromebooks are charged.

CONGRATULATIONS:

Fifteen MVHS students competed at the 2nd Annual Scholastic Contest at Oakland City University.    Our Squad tested their skills against students from the Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois Tri State Area.  MVHS defeated 12 schools to finish the day as Team Champion.
