Maroon Day
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we’ll not be able to have student sections at athletic events until further notice.
Thrive is seeking program assistants who want to make a positive impact in the lives of kids and the broader community. We are looking for individuals to work with the Executive Director and Program Staff to implement engaging, developmentally appropriate programming that fosters the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of the youth we serve. More information can be found on Thrive's facebook page (thriveafterschool) and a full job description and application can be requested by e-mailing joymillay@thriveafterschool.org or pick one up in the counseling office.
STUDENTS: Any student who has accumulated 7 or more absences in a class must appeal for credit in that class. Those students who need to appeal for credit will be notified today. Forms to appeal are available in the guidance office. Forms must be completed by the student and then turned in to the teacher of the class in which they are appealing for credit.
In the cafeteria in the morning, students should eat and socialize in the cafeteria. If you want to study in the commons area outside the cafeteria, you need to get permission from Mr. Jones. The commons area is a quiet, study zone in the mornings. Students may also study in the Media Center from 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. each morning. No food or drink is allowed in the Media Center at any time.
Today's Activities
