TO THE STUDENTS:

• Reminder to students the MAX limit of students sitting at one table at lunch is Six (6).
• All seniors wanting to participate in the Senior vs. Faculty basketball game on Friday, March 18th should sign up in Mr. Krizan's room (B105).
• If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior and have a cumulative gpa of 3.5 or better and you are not already a member of National Honor Society you should have received an e-mail from Mr. Riedford or Mr. Wheaton inviting you to fill out the paperwork that you need to complete in order to be considered for membership.  This application is due to  Mr. Wheaton by this Friday, March 11 at 3:15.  
• Any student interested in participating in the Junior Police Academy hosted by the Mount Vernon Police Department can pick up an application in the high school counseling office.  Session dates are:  June 6th - 9th (8am-12pm)  & June 10th (12pm-6pm)  For more information regarding the Junior Police Academy see School Resource Office Turner or call MVPD @ 812-838-8705  M-F (8am-4pm)
• Chicago: High School Edition opening tomorrow evening at 7:00 pm in the MVHS PAC.   Also showing Friday, 03/11/22 @ 7pm, Saturday, 03/12/22 @ 2pm & 7pm  Lot's of talent in the cast, crew, and orchestra! You don't want to miss this!  Purchase tickets at  mvhsfinearts.ludus.com
• Seniors:  The state FAFSA deadline is about 5 weeks away.  If you have questions, see Mrs. Rose.
• Attention Senior Boys:  Anyone interested in being a Big Wildcat on Campus candidate, please attend the informational meeting this Friday during reading period in room A215.  If you cannot attend, please see River Snodgrass.
• Seniors- It's time to submit your early childhood pictures for the Senior Video. Please include information about your plans after graduation. You can submit pictures to Mr. Pickrell at the Media Center. Include your name and phone number on the back of each photo. The deadline is Friday, March 31.
• The Super Bowl Team won the PAC Meet last evening at Pike Central.
• English Team placed 1st with a near-perfect score of 24 of 25 points (Team members are Brenna Julian, Sidney Friedman, Emma Fisher, and Sophie Kloppenburg). 
• Math Team placed 1st with 22 points.  (Team members are Carson Tucker, Rossy Hollinger, Shelby Lang, and Rylan Paul). 
• Interdisciplinary Team placed 1st with a score of 19 points.  (Team members are Sidney Friedman, Carson Tucker, Dusten Anderson, and Christian Cole).
• Fine Arts Team placed 2nd with a score of 20 points.  (Team members are Sidney Friedman and Cora Bell).
• Social Studies Team placed 3 with 14 points.  (Team members are Christian Cole, Ainsley Pierce, and Noah Woods).
