To the students, parents and staff:

 

This is a friendly reminder that in the next couple of weeks, the MVHS Chapter of the National Honor Society will be sending out email invitations and letters home to current Sophomore, Junior and Senior students who meet qualifying GPA requirements, to apply for National Honor Society Membership in our local chapter.  

 

Another organization, the National HONORS Society, which is a separate organization not affiliated with MVHS, also sends high school students across the country information as well.  The National HONORS Society usually asks students to submit an application fee, often $75-$100.  Our local chapter will NEVER ask a student for money in order to apply for membership.

 

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Bacon or Mr. Bethel BEFORE you fill out any application, and especially before you send ANY MONEY to ANY ORGANIZATION.
