• We are so proud of our choral students who participated in the ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble contest in Indianapolis this past weekend.  Jaycee Jarvis received a gold rating for her solo performance.  Renee Bippus and Julia Kingery both received distinguished gold for their solos. This means that their solos were at the top of the gold rating! Congratulations, ladies!

• If anyone is interested in participating on the Unified Track & Field team for the upcoming season, please attend the informational meeting this Wednesday, February 23rd in the Media Center at 7:45am. Contact Mr. Ungetheim for more information

• Congratulations to the Mt Vernon Winter Guard on their 6th place finish and winter drumline on their 2nd place finish at this weekend's competition. Also a big congratulations to all of the students that participated in solo and ensemble. We had 15 silver medals and 10 gold medals. Let's cheer on Isaiah McFadden and Ainsley Pierce as they head to Indianapolis for the state solo and ensemble competition on the 26th."

• Anyone interested in running track this spring and is not in a winter sport can attend preseason workouts on Monday and Wednesday of every week. Workouts will be from 3:15-around 4:30pm. All athletes not in a winter sport should change in the locker rooms behind the weight room. We will meet at the benches outside of the football/wrestling locker rooms. • Due to our current status, the girls basketball game on Saturday vs Forest Park will be restricted to IMMEDIATE FAMILIES ONLY!  Each of the rest of our home events this winter will be evaluated individually and we will provide announcements regarding attendance.
