Gray Day
Students: All books and material are to be returned to the Media Center before the end of the week.
STUDENTS: Please do NOT remove yourself or unenroll from your teachers' Google Classroom courses. Teachers will receive instructions from our e-Learning Team about archiving classes which will "clean-up" your Google Classroom home screen this summer.
STUDENTS: Custodians will begin to clean lockers on Thursday morning. Any items left in lockers will be discarded. Please make sure you have returned all books to the proper teacher and that you take all personal belongings with you when you leave on Wednesday.
The Student vs. Faculty Basketball game is now available for view on the Media Center Website.
STUDENTS: All guests and graduates will enter through door #2 the evening of May 28. Seniors are to report to the auxiliary gym on Friday, May 28th no later than 6:30 p.m. Reminder: seniors are not allowed to decorate caps or gowns.

Forms to appeal are available in the guidance office. Forms must be completed by the student and then turned in to the teacher of the class in which they are appealing for credit.

The Unified Track and Field team competed this past Tuesday at Boonville High School. Mount Vernon had many victories in individual events and ended up placing third overall in the meet. First place finishers in the events included Haley Rutledge, Kelcey Ricketts,
Will Ayers, Genna Biggerstaff, Renee Bippus, Julia Kingery, Emily Hueftle, Bradien Royal, Lennon Haton, Gabe Owens and Keaton Brickner.

If the weather is not OK to meet outside we will meet in the Family and Consumer Science kitchen. Please let Mr. Riedford know if you have a conflict and can not attend.

The Mount Vernon Police Department will be hosting the Junior Police Academy, June 7 through June 11. If you are interested, please see Lieutenant Gonzalez for an application. You must have a 3.0 GPA and your application must be returned by May 7.
